Rigorous Employee Screening
All of our potential employees undergo a comprehensive screening process, including criminal background checks, clean driving record verification, and drug testing.
Collaborative Training Initiatives
For the 2024-25 school year, Lake City will partner with Minnesota Association for Pupil Transportation (MAPT) to teach classes based on the Lake City Transportation Training model. Our leadership and staff members will also participate in annual "Train the Trainer" sessions sponsored by MAPT.
Vehicle Safety Inspections
Our vehicles receive regular 50-point safety inspections and are maintained by our on-site mechanical experts, in addition to passing the annual MN DOT inspections.
Special Needs Transportation Training
Lake City collaborates with Intermediate District 287 and Brooklyn Center Community Schools for annual special needs pupil transportation training.
